Pen drawing on vinyl record & custom made wooden panel
(500mm x 500mm x 34mm)
The first piece in my ON WAX collection, and who better to start it with than Golf Wang extraordinaire, 'Tyler the Creator'.
An old The New Seekers vinyl, a tiny weeny pen and a shit load of white paint... Voilà!
My ON WAX collection takes old vinyl records and repurposes them as a framework for my pointillist pen drawings. Out with the old centre label and in with a portrait of some of my favourite artists, depicted in thousands of tiny dots. I've even included a lovely logo for each artist just in case my drawing doesn't do the job (it will... I'm absolutely mint at art).
Everything sounds better on vinyl! Add to your record collection* in a different way.
