When I was a young whippersnapper, I had a penchant for popping on my Vans and heading to the rough streets of Eccleshall (winner of the Britain in Bloom gold certificate 2003-2005) for a skate with my mates. Getting my first custom skateboard was a huge moment. I remember staring at its artwork of a baby Grim Reaper murdering his teddies for ages - probably one of the first times I ever expressed an interest in art.
My SKATE SHOP collection combines my past love of skating with my love of music, popular culture and film and recreates both iconic and original imagery on the bottom of skateboards.
Hang them on your wall, skate* on them, use them as charcuterie boards, I don’t give a donkey's.
*don’t skate on them, they cost too much and you’ll probably die.
