The first piece in my ‘Pixels: The Albums’ collection, ‘Screamadelica’ is a reimagining of one of the most iconic album covers of the 90’s.
Using 625 wooden discs mind numbingly stuck onto a thick MDF board, I have taken something truly iconic in it’s symbolism and recognisability and (I reckon) made it better.
My ‘Pixels: The Albums’ pieces aim to challenge our perception of nostalgia whilst having a pop at the shite realisation that album art holds a less important role in today’s music industry.
