The third piece in my PIXELS collection, ‘Illmatic’ is a pixelation of probably most iconic album covers from that fella who used to drink Kelis's milkshake.
Using 625 wooden discs mind numbingly stuck onto a thick MDF board, I have taken an iconic image of 90's hip-hop and (I reckon) made it better.
My PIXELS pieces aim to challenge our perception of recognisability whilst having a pop at the shite realisation that album art holds a less important role in today’s music industry.
